Oops, wrong Marx.

At the suggestion of faux Republican Patricia Murphy, February's reading will be The Communist Manifesto, by Marx, who is pictured at the right.

Thanks to everyone who attended last night's discussion on Cicero. The January reading will be two letters of St. Paul, 1 Corinthians and Galatians. Also, please read Chapter 9 of Acts of the Apostles. If anyone wants me to email them a copy, please let me know.
Some interesting things about Paul: most scholars believe that Paul's letters were written before any of the Gospels. Also, it is generally thought that only six or seven of the thirteen letters attributed to him in the Bible were actually written by him. The seven that are thought to be genuine are 1 Thessalonians, Galatians, 1 and 2 Corinthians, Romans, Philippians, and Philemon.
